How to Fix "Facebook Business Verification Rejected"

Few things in Meta advertising are more frustrating than the rejection email after waiting days for business verification. The good news: rejections are almost always caused by a small, fixable mismatch. The bad news: Meta rarely tells you which one. Here is the complete checklist.

Cause 1: details don’t exactly match your documents

Meta compares your Business settings info to your documents character by character. "Dsocialz LLC" vs "Dsocialz L.L.C.", a missing suite number, an old address — any of these fails. Fix: open your registration document, copy the name and address into Business info exactly as printed, then resubmit.

Cause 2: weak or wrong documents

Screenshots, photos of screens, cropped PDFs, expired letters, and personal (not business) utility bills all fail. Fix: upload full-page, high-resolution scans of accepted documents — registration certificate, tax letter, or a recent utility bill in the business name.

Cause 3: your website doesn’t back you up

Reviewers check your site. If it is empty, parked, or never mentions the business name being verified, expect rejection. Fix: make sure your business name appears in the site footer and contact page, and apply with a domain email.

Cause 4: phone verification failed

If the code call goes to a VoIP number, voicemail, or a number not associated with the business, the attempt dies quietly. Fix: use a real, reachable line during business hours and pick the email option if the call keeps failing.

Resubmitting the right way

1. Fix every cause above — not just one; you have limited attempts
2. Wait 24–48 hours after making changes before resubmitting
3. Submit during business hours and watch for the phone verification
4. If the option disappears entirely, the BM may have lost eligibility

If it keeps getting rejected

Some BMs simply never pass — eligibility is opaque, and repeated rejections lower trust further. At that point you have two honest options: register a cleaner business entity and try with a fresh BM, or use a Business Manager that has already passed verification.
